Taina Noel · Analyst candidate, Avery

Systems, data and relationships: the three things an AI-native search firm runs on.

I've built KPI dashboards from 10,000+ records, run Agile delivery at a startup, and presented findings to client leadership. I want to do all three at Avery.

Why Avery

Technology widens the field. Judgment makes the call.

Avery maps the whole market for each private equity and alternative-investment mandate, then narrows it with human judgment, so every introduction arrives with a reason behind it. That is the same balance I studied in my human-in-the-loop AI project at FSU, and it is how I work: let the system surface everything, then decide carefully. The Analyst role spans platform development, business development and recruiting, and I want a seat where I can contribute to all three while the firm is still being built.

Platform development

Built Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting from 10,000+ system records; tested integrations and configurations against requirements on an SAP S/4HANA rollout.

Business development

Turned operational data into a $2M+ business case and an executive presentation that ranked Top 2 of 2,500+.

Recruiting & relationships

Handled 20+ stakeholder interactions a day in a client-facing role, and presented findings directly to client leadership.

Surfacing risk on an SAP S/4HANA implementation

SituationA client was implementing SAP S/4HANA across six workstreams, and integration points and application controls needed to be tested against requirements.

ApproachEvaluated system integrations and application controls across 3–4 systems, supported system integration testing, documented control dependencies, and validated configurations against requirements.

ImpactIdentified process gaps and control risks across all six workstreams and presented findings and recommendations to client leadership.

Why it matters at AveryAuditing how a system tags and screens people is testing configurations against what the client actually needs.
